I love words. The roots of them, the shades of them, the rhythm of them when they're strung together. There is magic when words are just right -- but there is no magic when beautiful words are spoiled with typos, poor punctuation, or bad grammar. If you have words you need to share with the world, I can help you make the magic!
I've been loving words in many ways all my life, not the least of which have included:
15 years of teaching grammar and writing,
a decade of blog-writing,
publishing original articles in major magazines,
writing hundreds of resumes,
and last but not least, reading, reading, reading, everything from Little House on the Prairie to the Iliad.
I graduated from university with a BA in Psychology, a minor in Sociology, and a frustrated desire for a degree in Biology. I love to learn about people, cultures, science, and history, which is good, because after working as a Career Counsellor, I became the sole educator of my four children in all subjects from K-12 in our homeschool.
Now, as my children graduate one-by-one, I'm excited about a new professional chapter, serving a new audience.
